RTC welcomed 130 students to College for the start of the new academic year last week – a record number. New students this year came from all corners of the UK and we also welcomed students from the Netherlands, Japan, India and Sri Lanka. Students are studying degree courses certificated by the University of Wales in Applied Theology and in Applied Theology and Youth Ministry. Other students have opted to study for one year on the School of Ministry course which is an Elim certificated course in theology, mission and Christian leadership.
During orientation week, students got used to their new surroundings with a track and pool sports day and barbecue followed by a team based general knowledge quiz. New students also had the opportunity to check out the pretty and historic town of Nantwich and 30 of them disappeared off to Cheshire Oakes outlet village for something to eat.
The real work starts this week with lectures getting into full swing, and students are looking forward to the challenge.
If you want to come and find out what they are getting up to, why not come and join our next “Just Looking” guest experience which takes place 6-8 November. You’ll get the chance to sit in on lectures, meet the faculty and new students and check out the beautiful campus. Contact the admissions officer, Maria to book your free place on 01270 615432 or at maria.baccelliere@regents-tc.ac.uk
